Welcome to the labor market unit in Partille Municipality, which is part of the social and labor administration. The labor market unit employs 13 staff members with the main mission of supporting people towards self-sufficiency.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you looking for a fun and developing summer job? Every year, the labor market unit organizes summer jobs for young people living in the municipality. The summer jobs for the municipality's youth are available in many different areas. These municipal summer jobs often serve as the first contact with working life for many young people, while also benefiting the municipality's residents.

We are now looking for a team leader who can work all summer (June 9 - August 15) with a leadership responsibility for young people working on lawn mowing for seniors and at various locations around Partille Municipality. You will supervise a total of nine young people, divided into three periods during the summer. As a team leader, you are responsible for structuring and planning the work and maintaining contact with those receiving help with lawn mowing. To some extent, you are also responsible for solving any practical/technical problems that may arise during the period. Of course, you will also participate in the lawn mowing. However, the most important part of your role will be to ensure that the young people who have secured summer jobs receive a safe and developing first work experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

For the role of team leader within our municipal summer jobs, we are looking for a confident and stable person, preferably with experience working with youth, such as a youth leader or teaching student. Since you will be responsible for planning and organizing the work during the summer, we value that you are structured and self-driven. We are looking for someone who is socially interested and skilled at creating good and trusting relationships, as the job involves daily contact with both young and older people.

We require you to have completed high school education, and for employment, you need to present an acceptable criminal record. A B driver's license for manual transmission is a requirement for the position. You must also be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. Practical skills are desirable.
